COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
DINNER FOR EIGHT
If you like to entertain, this is the venue for you! The groups meet once a month at the home of each member in turn, to share a gourmet meal and lively conversation.
FUN GROUP
The Holy Spirit Fun Group, founded by Msg. Batson, is an organization of Christian men and women, Catholic or non-Catholic. We gather together on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 6:00PM for drinks and snacks, followed by a delicious dinner (cost $8.00), a short meeting, entertainment, fun and fellowship. Periodically, our club members take day trips, overnighters, and once or twice a year a weeklong trip. Each March we go to the races in Hot Springs, we ocasionally visit Tunica, and last November, 50 Fun Groupers went to visit the Biltmore Mansion in North Carolina.
Anyone over the age of 35 is welcome to join, but most of our members are fifty and older. Dues are $11 per year. Four elected officer and a Board leads this group.
The president is Dick Barnes.
LADIES EVENING GROUP
Please join the Ladies Evening Group at our monthly meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7PM in the Batson Center. We come together for fun and fellowship. Our meetings include a speaker/activity on current issues of interest to women. Our main fundraising goal is the Holly Shoppe Craft and Gift Fair on the 1st Saturday following the first Friday in November. The proceeds go to the Hospital of Hope in Haiti and the Adam Condoure Scholarship Fund.

PARISH NEWSLETTER
Our Parish Newsletter offers in-depth articles about parish events and the people who make this congregation such a blessing to the community. It is published 5 times yearly, and is mailed to parish households. The editor is Geri Cuoghi. She can be reached at: vcuoghi1@midsouth.rr.com
POTLUCK BREAKFAST
On the fourth Monday of the month, attendees of the 8 o'clock liturgy gather afterwards for food and fellowship.
YOUTH SPORTS
Our athletic facilities, located on church grounds, offer an opportunity for the parish children to participate in the following team sports:
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPER
From 5:30 to 6:30PM in the Batson Center during the fall and winter seasons. The cost for a wonderful meal is $6 for adults, $3 for children, and $20 for a family of 2 adults and children under 16. Come meet your fellow parishioners and bring a friend!
The Group promotes fellowship by providing religious, educational and social activities. Meetings encompass spiritual enrichment as well as other topics of interest. In addition to regularly scheduled meetings, the group sponsors Girls' Night Out, Mommy and Me, and family activities. Through several fund-raising projects, the Group promotes service to God and help to those in need. Each year funds are raised for the Adam P. Condoure Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to a deserving high school senior of the parish. The Group also sponsors needy families during the holidays.
