The children will learn the basics of batting, running the bases and fielding the ball. All team members will bat and field during each inning. Each child will need his/her own glove. Parents are encouraged to practice throwing and catching the ball with their child.

We will be playing teams from area churches and Memphis Jewish Community Centre.

Pre-season practices will be held, beginning in April, on the HOLY SPIRIT T-BALL FIELD. The season begins approx. the first week of May and will run 6-8 weeks. This year's schedule will be decided when the league finds out how many teams will be playing, etc. There is a possibility of Saturday morning games. We need parents to volunteer to be coaches!

There is a $45 fee per player and this includes a trophy and team/individual photos. The complete uniform is $20 and it includes: the green HOLY SPIRIT YOUTH SPORTS t-shirt, hat and socks (players are to provide their own black or navy blue shorts). Individual components of the uniform may be ordered if you already have part of it (the t-shirts are currently used for basketball & micro-soccer uniforms).

Checks should be made payable to Church of the Holy Spirit and must accompany the registration form

The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
