While parents are the primary catechists of their children, these qualified volunteers give generously of their time and talent to help with the formal catechesis of children ages preschool through 8th grade. Circumstances allowing, they pair up to lead the groups, providing support and continuity, sharing responsibilities, and bringing complementary strength for the benefit of all. They participate in catechist training sessions on a regular basis.
