A Ministry of Caring for Our Environment Based on The St. Francis Pledge to Care for Creation and the Poor (www.CatholicClimateCovenant.org), this ministry is a joint venture of Parish Social Ministry, Catechetical Ministry, and Youth Ministry. It encourages stewardship of God’s creation through conservation of natural resources, reduction of the use of harmful materials, and sharing information about sustainable choices in the parish, at home, at work, and in the community. One of this ministry’s most visible aspects is the Community Garden, located at the back of the parking lot between the green shed and the barn.
