The Church of the Holy Spirit has a whole family approach to families with children. We gather on Sunday mornings and worship together at 9:00 Mass and learn about our faith from 10:15AM to 11:30AM.

Whole Family Adult Gathering
This multi-generational faith formation opportunity is offered during the same time as the children's classes from 10:15AM-11:30 AM. These are for everyone from 8th grade to adults and are currently being held in 103/104. Fall of the 2011/12 school year will be "A Quick Journey Through the Bible" for eight weeks. Spring of 2012 will be "Living the Eucharist", a six week Lenten study, beginning February 26th. All are welcome. No prerequisites needed for this class.
Children's Religious Education
PRE classes for ages 3 through 7th grade are held on Sunday mornings, 10:15 AM-11:30 AM. Registration: General registration is held in August. Families transferring during the year are encouraged to register their children for PRE upon joining the parish. According to diocesan guidelines, we must have a Health Form on file for each child in the program.

Sacramental Preparation
All sacramental programs are two year programs, children must attend religious education classes one year prior to the sacramental year.
Copies of Baptismal certificates are required for registration.
First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation are held on Sundays, 10:15 AM-11:30 AM. The child is prepared by the parent in the classroom, and the class is directed by the catechist. First Reconciliation classes are held on six Sundays in the Fall. First Eucharist classes are held on six Sundays in the Spring.
Confirmation Preparation for 8th grade and up is held on Wednesdays, 5:30PM - 7:15PM. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be held at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in May as announced by the diocese in the Spring. All candidates and their sponsors are to report to Marian Hall (downstairs) at 6pm.

Children’s PRE Fees
The fee schedule is as follows: $50 for one child, $45 for the second child, with a family maximum of $125. There is an additional registration fee of $25 for First Reconciliation/First Eucharist and Confirmation.
Fees are due at registration, and help cover the cost of all formation activities at Holy Spirit. No child will be turned away.
